Applications Open · AY2027–2028The Fulbright Egyptian Scholar Program — Research Grant provides opportunities for Egyptian faculty members from Egyptian universities and research centers to conduct research at U.S. institutions in all fields of study. All fields are eligible.
Note: Preference is given to applicants without prior significant experience in the U.S. and/or overseas.

The selection follows a clear sequence: program announcement, online application deadline, application review, personal interviews for shortlisted applicants, a post-interview information session, official nomination or regret letters, pre-departure orientation for semi-finalists, and finally the departure date for selected applicants who complete all stages and pre-departure requirements.
The Fulbright Program seeks applicants with personal integrity and original thinking. All content must be the applicant's own work; any use of AI tools must be clearly disclosed. Plagiarism — including unintentional plagiarism — or undisclosed AI use will disqualify an application.
